Last year we received a large donation for a scholarship that provided many riding lessons to go to an elementary age student that we have. Before riding lessons this boy was very quiet and shy, but our lesson horse Roper, soon befriended him and brought out an amazing personality that made everyone around this boy smile. This boy even talks about his friend, Roper, in school to other children. The bond between Roper and this boy is like no other and absolutely inspires us at Northern Pines Stables to do exactly what we do.
